Library Orientation (Fall 2024): Space

This guide introduces the Library and its services to new Marianopolis students. It supplements information that all students receive through the Library Orientation session that they receive in their English 603-101-MQ course.

Overview

SpaceLibrary Main Floor

The Library occupies the entire C-Wing of the Marianopolis building. It spans three floors:

  1. Ground Floor (C-100 level)
  2. Main Floor (C-200 level)
  3. Organ Loft (C-300 level) and Altar Loft (C-300 level).

There are two entrances to the Library, one on the C-200 level that opens onto the Main Floor, and a second entrance on the C-100 level that opens onto the Ground Floor (Please note: The Ground Floor is currently unavailable due to renovations). The Organ Loft also has its own entrance on the C-300 level. For more details about what can be found on each floor, read more below.

Hours

For Fall 2024 and Winter 2025, the Library will be open from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are occasionally exceptions to this schedule. For a list of the exceptions, see the Contact information and opening hours section of the Library page on the Marianopolis website.
