For detailed information on how to register with the AccessAbility Centre, please visit www.marianopolis.edu/accessability.
The first step to requesting accommodations is to submit:
a report or diagnostic assessment that includes a specific diagnosis and is signed by a licensed professional from Quebec along with the Request for Accommodations form
The Adapted Services Counsellor will then identify the accommodations you are entitled to have for your different courses and create an Individualized Intervention Plan (IIP). Note that it is your responsibility as a student to submit the documentation when you receive your acceptance at the College. If you do not submit the documentation with your acceptance at the College, you must submit it as soon as it is available. After registering with the AccessAbility Centre and signing your IIP, your teachers will be informed of your academic profile (as indicated in the IIP) and of the accommodations you are entitled to in their course.
The AccessAbility Center will offer support for the platforms/software included in the list below. If you are interested in support or help with a platform/software that is not included in the list below, please contact Samantha Lamontagne by MIO.
